Mandelic Acid is a gentle Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds, known for its ability to exfoliate the skin while being suitable for sensitive and blemish-prone skin types. With a larger molecular size than many other exfoliating acids, Mandelic Acid penetrates the skin more slowly, helping to refine skin texture, improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, congestion and post-breakout marks with minimal irritation. It supports a clearer, brighter and smoother-looking complexion while helping to reduce the appearance of pigmentation and visible signs of ageing.
